The DER controller enables the combination of a conventional power generation unit with several renewable power generation systems, such as PV and wind, and a battery storage system. As a secondary control device, the DER controller ensures the highest possible utilization of all renewables aiming to significantly reduce the ecological footprint. The data acquisition and control of all primary control systems are realized via Modbus TCP, CAN-Bus or analog signals.
